Dec. 07, Nokia Concert Hall, Tallinn: Major opera night brings the opening performance of the new season of La Scala to the Estonian public.
The new concert hall will host Georges Bizet’s Carmen in the Opera’s opening performance in the new opera season in Estonia.

Dec. 16, Nokia Concert Hall, Tallinn: Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake” is one of the most popular ballets in the world, keeping its position firmly in the programs of music theatres. The ballet is joined into an enjoyable piece by Tchaikovsky’s ingenious music, poetic story, versatility of dance rhythms and characters. Choreographer and producer Tiit Harm has based his new version of “Swan Lake” on Lev Ivanov’s original choreography that has been followed for almost a century creating a new dimension of a classical fairy tale.

Dec. 18, Nokia Concert Hall, Tallinn: Andrew Lloyd Webber’s and Tim Rice’s musical EVITA in two stunning acts. The musical comprises the story of the life of Eva Peron, the wife of Argentinian President Juan Peron, as told by another modern icon, Che Guevara. A true testament to politics and pop culture, the show runs from Dec 18-20.


Latvia

Dec. 04, Club Essential, Riga: Kazantip Baltic invites you to the most positive dance party in the world with guest DJ’s DJ Beauty from Ukraine, DJ Lemah and DJ N’Deep of Estonia. Already veteran DJ’s, the dance floor will be packed with celebs and guests braving the cold for a night of fun.

Dec. 13, Congress Hall, Riga: Latvian pop star Linda Leen will be setting the stage a glow with her holiday “Sounds of Winter” concert to get everyone in the spirit of the season. The program will include favorite Hollywood holiday tunes accompanied by Liepaja’s Symphonic Orchestra.

Dec. 19, Great Guild, Riga: Ivars Petersons, known as the Latvian Elvis Presley invites you to his concert “The Songs of Christmas” together with the Latvian National Orchestra and various choirs to get you into the proper Christmas spirit. Petersons, winner of US Elvis look-alike competitions is never a disappointment and the king’s energy will have you jiving in your blue-suede shoes.

Dec. 30, Congress Hall, Riga: Coming to town to perform a much loved Michael Jackson tribute, the Harlem Gospel Choir will showcase their talent with an emotional and moving concert. Riga is no stranger to the choir’s powerful voices and welcome them back to Latvia after a world-wide tour.


Lithuania

Dec. 13, Pramogu Arena, Vilnius: The musical “Thriller- Live” brings back the King of Pop, Michael Jackson in London’s West End production. The tour will moonwalk over to the Baltics in December, making a holiday stop in Vilnius. The musical is a spectacular, high octane show celebrating the career of the world’s greatest ever entertainer - Michael Jackson, and the Jackson 5. The musical includes hits: I Want You Back, I’ll Be There, Show You The Way To Go, Can You Feel It, Rock With You, She’s Out Of My Life, Beat It, Billie Jean, Earth Song, Thriller and more.

Dec. 21, Kotrynos Church, Vilnius: The ever ethereal Lithuanian music star Jurga will be performing her Christmas concert for one night only. Winner of many international awards, including MTV award for Best Baltic Artist, Jurga began her career in 2005. She is one of the most popular artists in Lithuania. Full of spirit and grace, a perfect start to the holidays.

Dec. 26, Congress Concert Hall, Vilnius: The music of Queen is brought back to life in The Queen Symphony, an arrangement of hits by Freddie Mercury. Several years ago, the national orchestra performed “The Queen Symphony” which was written in 2002 and today the admirers of this symphony will have the pleasure to listen to and to see the music by the legendary band again. With many sound effects, unexpected performances of soloists and the theatrical voices of the choir, the performers promise unforgettable impressions.
