Latvian wins NY Marathon

Two times in a row

Latvia's Jelena Prokopcuka won the New York Marathon for a second consecutive time last week: 2 hours and 25 minutes was her time. She is the first athlete in the past 11 years to win New York Marathon two times in a row. Prokopcuka will receive 130,000 USD in prize money.
