Estonia's straw-bale house nears completion
Designer swamped with tour requests
Estonia’s first straw-bale house, built seaside in the Pirita suburb, is nearing completion. The designer, Janika Veski, was forced to stop giving tours, because her work crews were tripping over spectators. “I thought only a few would want to see it,” said Veski. “But I got hundreds of calls.” Regrettably, Veski is showing the house to only to her consulting clients, and those who can convince her they are serious about straw bale homes. Those who are serious may write her at [email protected].
