Pickpockets less active in Tallinn
Safe now to dress in ermine and pearls?
Versus the year prior, the number of pickpockets and robberies have decreased in Tallinn.
Still, an average of two tourists and two local residents turn to the police daily, announcing they have fallen victims to pickpockets or robbers. The classic case, say police, is when a tourist exits a pub “he is hit in the back or in the head and falls down on the street. Once he or she awakens, the valuables are gone.”
So, please, watch yourself exiting Tallinn pubs.
