An Estonian school in Finland?
Illegal, but Finnish law to be amended
Estonians residing in Finland hope to open an Estonian-curriculum school in Finland. According to the press and culture attaché of the Estonian embassy in Helsinki, Kairi Leivo, nearly every day an Estonian parent asks for the opportunity for his child to receive an Estonian education.
Currently the Finnish laws do not permit foreign curriculums, but there are plans in the works to amend the law.
